Gabriel comes from a team building and stage entertainment background. He received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania and later received his hypnosis training in Boston, Massachusetts.

July 31 – Celebrate National Dance Day In Hopkinsville

Hopkinsville has a vibrant dance community and will be participating in National Dance Day. On Saturday, July 31st, 2010, at 10:00 am, in Little River Park, located in downtown Hopkinsville, local dance studios, dance instructors, and dance teams will demonstrate their skills and perform for the public. The public will be encouraged to participate.

Dance studios and dance instructors will set up tents and tables throughout the park and will have information and representatives available to let the community know about opportunities available for them to participate in a variety of dance styles, dance exercise, and dance related activities.

Nigel Lythgoe, executive producer and judge,is launching National Dance Day on FOX Television’s "So You Think You Can Dance." National Dance Day will take place on July 31, 2010 and will include a variety of dance-themed activities, across the Country, for people of all ages. It will empower, challenge and inspire everyone to try various styles of dance ranging from hip-hop to ballroom to anything that moves. Above all, it will encourage everyone to DANCE as a means to stay fit and be healthy.

GEEKS Night Out meetings will feature guest speaker, Chris Tanner, Assistant Director of Regional Business and Innovation Center (RBIC). Tanner worked as a Patent Attorney for 10 years and was an Examiner for the U.S. Patent office. Before that, Chris was a software developer for IBM. Come hear him speak on the importance of software!

“Funnier than Blue Collar Comedy Hour” This is the 3rd helping of Tuna in the series of plays depicting the polyester-clad citizens of Tuna, Texas.

Robert Brock and Henry Kevin Haggard take the stage once again as the sole performers playing all of Tuna’s inhabitants including men, women, children and animals (thanks to 40 lightning-quick costume changes). June 12-13 – 4th Annual Soapbox Derby

The All-American Soap Box Derby, "The Greatest Amateur Racing Event in the World," is a youth gravity-racing program boys and girls ages 8 through 17 years old. The race will take place in downtown Hopkinsville on Bethel Street.

The goals of the Soap Box Derby program have not changed since it began in 1934: to promote families working together,to teach children some basic skills of workmanship along with the spirit of competition, and the perseverance to continue a project to completion.
