Robert Coleman Spraypark
Robert Coleman Park was previously known as Blackburn Park. At a dedication on May 13, 2009, the park's name was changed to honor Paducah's longest serving elected official Robert Coleman who was a City Commissioner for 31 years. Coleman retired from office in 2008.
Built in 2006, the Spray Park features a large mushroom-shaped sprinkler, many fountains, a seal mini slide and more. Inside the spray park are a few large umbrellas that shade the large benches beneath them. Right outside the spray park, is a small playground and grassy areas, perfect for a picnic.
The best thing about Blackburn Park? Admission is free.
Hours of operation are:
Monday through Sunday 10 AM to 8 PM
Memorial Day to Labor Day

Tip: Bring some extra cash along if you come on a Saturday for the Ice Cream Truck that sometimes drives by!

The Robert Coleman SprayPark is a wonderful community area in Paducah. I had the pleasure of taking my 5-yr old grandaughter and nephew this summer and they had a great time at the water park. It is clean, colorful and just a great enhancement for the community.
