October 30-31 – Carlislefest
The 2009 Carlislefest is going on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 30 and 31 at the Carlisle County Ballpark and Fairgrounds. All proceeds benefit a Veterans Memorial that will be located at the Carlisle County Courthouse.
Events will include a salute to all Carlisle County Veterans, amateur BBQ and chili cook off, basketball tournament, cornhole tournament, poker run, costume contest, fireworks, trunk or treat, and carnival. In addition to all the fun and games, Darren Warren will be live in concert on Saturday, Oct. 31.
