October 17-18 – Western KY Highland Festival
The 2009 Games will be held October 17. Please join us for a celebration of Scottish-Celtic heritage featuring all things Scottish such as: bagpipe bands, music, amateur athletic competition including: cabre-tossing, sheath toss, weighted throws, stone throws, etc., Clan tents, Scottish entertainers, genealogy tent, Scottish vendors, highland cattle, sheepherding and MUCH MORE! There are events the whole family will enjoy!

2009 Ceilidh

Big Apple Cafe - No charge for the ceilidh
You may order off the menu and pay for your own meal choice
Ceilidh is derived from the Gaelic word meaning "to visit". Ceilidhs are traditionally parties that include music and dancing.

Murray City Park, Central Park
We plan again on having the Wee Baren games, Tug of war between the Middle Schools of Western Ky., Music, Dancers, Clan Tents, Food, Vendors, Highland Cattle, Sheep herding and much more.
(Cost is $5 and will include the full day's worth of events. Children under 10 free)
