July 2-4 – 23rd Annual Murray Freedom Fest Celebration

Freedom Fest is celebrating its 23rd Birthday of Patriotism!

The goal of Freedom Fest is to create family-friendly events  with very little, or no cost, to enjoy! Spread over three days, the community celebrates Independence Day with downtown concerts, vendors, food, kids’ activities, and fireworks. Next door to the downtown street fair, Squealin’ on the Square provides a look into the world of professional barbeque competitions. Many of the top-ranked, hardcore barbequers find their way to Murray, KY for 48 hours of continuous grilling. Sunday of Freedom Fest celebrates the holiday with Family Day in the Park and Gospel Explosion. These events, held in Central Park, offer an amazing opportunity for families to be together.

Kevin Skinner will also play a concert Saturday night with openers Sierra Hull and Highway 111. Tickets are $10-$15 and are available from the RSEC box office starting May 14.
